Lemonquest acquires the Chinese company i4game.
Madrid, Spain, February 12th , 2007
Lemon Quest a leading global publisher of mobile games and personalization products, today announced at the 3GSM conference, the acquisition of the Chinese company i4game, an innovative developer of high-quality mobile games throughout Asia (China, Korea and Japan), specialised mainly into the production of 2 D and 3 D mobile games.
The acquisition gives Lemonquest new territories of operations and a true 3D games portfolio ready to be sold to their mobile carrier customers.
“We welcome i4game into the Lemonquest group, this acquisition will give us a 3 D capacity to develop the next generation of mobile games and access to a 300 M user’s market in a growing area of the world” said Ignacio Cavero, CEO of Lemon Quest.
I4game will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemonquest. All of i4game’s employees will continue with Lemonquest and remain in their Beijing location.
Mr. Cavero, CEO of Lemonquest and Mr. Raibaut, Debaeque’s partner will join the board of the new acquisition.
