MyStrands develops social recommendation technologies to help people discover and enjoy new music, through different channels (Internet, TV, mobile devices). MyStrands uses statistical machine learning, collaborative filtering, complex network-based analysis, among others, to provide music recommendations based exclusively on the listening behavior of individuals and social networks.
MyStrands was initially launched in 2005 as MusicStarnds.

MyStrands is headquartered in Corvallis, Oregon, with R&D and sales facilities in Europe.
